Seborrhoeic Eczema

Often not itchy, often has scaly patches, usually on the scalp and face

HOW TO TREAT ECZEMA

As a holistic skincare range, lovingly blended by naturopath and herbalist Barbara Filokostas we naturally suggest treating this condition holistically.

  1. Prescription Medication
  2. Many are available, but most prescription medication treats only the symptoms of eczema and not the cause. They often have some negative drawbacks. Choose wisely, if at all. Always check with your healthcare provider.

Dr Elizabeth Lipski, clinical nutritionist and author of several books on nutrition and digestion including of Digestive Wellness states that “eczema starts from within the body, it needs addressing systematically. Often treated with cortisone cream, but this will suppress your immune function. Although effective, there is often a rebound effect after you stop using the cream, and your symptoms may return worse than before”.

  3. Natural Eczema Creams

Natural plant-based ingredients such as chamomile, calendula, olive squalene and vitamin E will help soothe and heal your skin without any adverse side effects.
